Akazukin Chacha (5 CD)

Akazukin Chacha (赤ずきんチャチャ, lit. “Red Riding Hood Chacha”) is a shōjo manga series by Min Ayahana. It was serialized by Shueisha in the manga magazine Ribon from 1991 and 2000 and collected in 13 bound volumes. The series follows the adventures of a fumbling student magician named Chacha, who habitually wears a red hooded cloak, as she seeks the truth about her family and defend the kingdom against its enemies. Akazukin Chacha was adapted into an anime television series by Gallop, first broadcast on TV Tokyo in 74 episodes from 7 January 1994 to 30 June 1995. This was followed by a sequel OVA series of three episodes released between 6 December 1995 and 6 March 1996.

A parody of fairy tales for those who want some quick laughs. Animated by Studio Gallop, famous mostly for the anime adaptations of Rurouni Kenshin, Initial D and Yu Gi Oh. Directed by Tsuji Hatsuki, who also did the prequel OVAs of Rurouni Kenshin and the second Yu Gi Oh GX. I can’t say I am thrilled by any of that, as I am not with the show itself. I dont really care that you dont like Magical Girl/Shoujo anime’s,your gonna sit and watch this and love it Its that good, dont deplete yourself of a good time,so what if the story isnt fabulously original, your not going to be watching this for plot twists on seat grabbing mindgames. Your gonna watch it because you want to be entertained, isnt this what watching anime is all about? having fun and enjoying yourself, without needing to put to much thought into it. Akazukin Chacha is your friend, dont worry about what your friends think, i bet they like death note and code geass, you can do away with them later.
