Joshiraku (じょしらく, lit. Rakugo Girls) is a 2009–2013 Japanese comedy manga series written by Kōji Kumeta and illustrated by Yasu, telling the everyday lives of five young female rakugo comedians. An adaptation of a manga written by the author of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei about group of girls who discuss random things and usually reach an unusual or humorous conclusion that’s far from the initial discussion topic. An anime adaptation by J.C.Staff aired in Japan between July and September 2012.
