The story takes place in Tokyo in 2018, where normal humans and those who can use magic coexist. As a result, there are laws against using magic, and a “magic courtroom” exists to preside over lawsuits regarding magic use. In these cases, “Benmashi” or wizard barristers defend those who use magic. The anime follows Cecil, the youngest Benmashi in history, and her associates as they defend clients in these cases. Wizard barristers has been severely under analyzed. In this show you have to follow it carefully and remember where each character stands. Cicel the main character is a progeny in her field, but people also forget she is 17; under the circumstances how her character was built makes a lot of sense. She thinks she is a know it all, but doesn’t and despite it all she truly wants to do her job honestly. The other employee might be on her high horse, but she does make valid claims. Both however are in training and are not full fledged co workers. To conclude this whole review the series is only half way over, but it is good so far. Some might not like it because it’s not for them, but for those of you who like action or maybe somewhat of a mystery then this show might just captivate you to. Before judging the main character keep in mind her age and situation.
